Did Ivor Brazier, Racehorse Trainer, serve during the War?
« on: Monday 08 April 19 19:46 BST (UK) »
Dear all,

You might be able to assist.

Did Ivor Brazier (1912 - 85) serve in the armed forces during the Second World War?  I can find no record on ancestry for him.

He was a race horse trainer and his family were breeders.  Noting that racing was one of the only 'sports' to be allowed to continue during the war, perhaps, his occupation was that of a 'reserved occupation'?

Best wishes,
GeneaologistSykes

Service Records for all personnel serving after 1920 are still with the MOD.
They are NOT available on Ancestry, FindMyPast, or any other site.

That is a very fair point, indeed.
