Slaghty, or Sloughtee: "A district of the townland consisting of a great many miserable houses. It is bounded on the East by Lough Derg."

Hi there, this is an old post but slaughty is up the road from me. It’s in Coose, which is in Galway but the address is actually coose , Whitegate, Clare. There are still Tuohys living in Slaughty .
