Hello, if you can help me learn about the family history of this couple who came to US by mid 19th century, I would be very grateful. These are my maternal grandfather's (currently age 92) great grandparents. They were married March 26, 1850 but I'm not sure where in Ireland, likely Antrim.
God Bless you! 'Good night and joy be with you all.'

Glad you were able to post your query  :)

Civil registration of Catholic marriages began 1864 but non-Catholic ones in 1845 so religion will make a difference. Registration of births & deaths also started in 1864 so again religion is crucial to find church records of baptisms and perhaps burials.

It seems you are in luck! Marriage appears in civil records (so either non-Catholic or registry office ceremony)- here's an extract which shows their fathers as David Francey and Robert Wilson-
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FG63-GWK
You can go to GRONI's site and view the actual marriage record after registration and buying a few credits- https://geni.nidirect.gov.uk/
Your other choice is to wait until Irish Genealogy get the marriage online (free)-
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp

See here for details included on marriage certificate-
https://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=442233.0

The marriage took place in Antrim registration district so you now have a rough area to concentrate on. Since marriages usually take place in the bride's church (if it was a church wedding) then you might find Jane Wilson's family there and possibly John Francey's family as well. However, not all church records survive (and of those that do not all are online).

Just in case you haven't seen this- John Francy's birthdate 11 Apr.1830 possibly from death certificate-
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/30821852
Have you contacted the person who gave the information or other descendants to see if they've other details?

I see wife Jane's record there says born Kells Co. Meath but likely someone was made a mistake for Kells, Co. Antrim!

Aghadowey - you may be correct on Kells, Co. Antrim as there are Franceys there in the records e.g. LINK see #29

Noting this birth record is duplicated
If William was a brother to John (seeing as he named his son David) then the first row states Jane Francey was the grandmother and possibly a first name for the previous generation

William FRANCY of Kells, Co. Antrim (F) David
married Sep 02 1856 in Ballymena Presbyterian
Matilda TAYLOR of Ferniskey (F) Robert
I know the Mother's Maiden Name on the birth of David is Dobson but this marriage record is a transcription and one of the witnesses is a DOBSON and there could be an error that I would check before I'd rule out some connection
Civil Marriage Record reference is Ballymena 1856 Q1 V2 P75 LINK

Thank you aghadowey and friend for the information and links to follow. In this case, I'm mostly in the lead and on my own as far as additional details from my family. John Francy and Jane Wilson are the farthest back I have reached for now. They are my maternal grandfather's great grandparents. He is the last remaining of his siblings and is now 92. I would love to learn more about these two ancestors and especially talk to people who are related to them perhaps. I have not photos of either of them. I really appreciate the kind help in this endeavor. cheers my friends

Hi, the best bit is the end where Francey/Francy turns in to Francis etc in Connor civil parish.
from familysearch.org using the Francey spelling
https://www.familysearch.org/search/linker?pal=/ark:/61903/1:1:FP4P-2WB&icid=fs-attach&id=LQRH-RBD
has John &Isabella family  m Presby Church Connor 6 children[Its strong on McMeekin side] think suggesting 8 children
residences which might be church rather than homestead etc
residence 1864 Galgorm based on b of Margret Ann
residence 1866 Connor
residence 1901 Roseleigh Street Clifton, Antrim, Ireland

from the Ulster Historical Foundation’s website, https://www.ancestryireland.com/
FRANCY   JAMES   1850   WILLIAM   Antrim
FRANCY   JOHN   1853   ANDREW   Antrim
FRANCY   MARGARET   1853   JOHN   Antrim
FRANCY   JAMES   1855   DAVID      Antrim
FRANCY   MARY   1856   ROBERT   Antrim
FRANCY   MARY   1858   WILLIAM   Antrim
FRANCY   SARAH1878   ALEXANDER   Antrim
FRANCY   DAVID   1879   JAMES      Antrim
FRANCY   JAMES   1880   JAMES      Antrim
FRANCY   WILLIAM JOHN1915   JAMES   Antrim
they only have marriages which is odd, and should mean a specialized denomination who doesn’t baptize or record their burials
https://www.ancestryireland.com/

Burials with clues see the Braid http://www.thebraid.com/genealogy.aspx
The spelling standard used by the braid website all are spelt FRENCEY
example
St Saviour's Cemetery Connor   1866   Erected by John Francey, of Toronto, Ohio, U.S. in memory of his father David Francey, of Ferniskey, who died 26th October 1866, aged 64 years.  ie b 1802.   Also of his mother Jane Francey, who died 21st Decr 1866, aged 66 years.
Ferniskey is in Connor so David could be father of your John

Griffiths Valuation has quicklist see https://www.failteromhat.com/post1845.php date mislead by me ~1861
Francey   Robert      Fernisky   Connor   Antrim
Francey   Samuel   Fernisky   Connor   Antrim

Excellent, you are quite correct my friend about John Francey of Ohio. Thank you BallyaltikilliganG! and friends for taking time to help me learn more. I haven't had time to look that closely at all of this yet, but imagine how happy I am to see the name of David Frencey for the FIRST time. It's phenomenal. and cheers, John's birthday is April 11, 1830. Happy Birthday sir!
I'm quite the amateur at these historic records various websites. Sometimes I hope to click a direct link and it's just a initial search bar/tool. I will look into one and all leads. Please keep an eye on my journey. many thanks!

The Will of David Francy late of Ferniskey County Antrim Farmer deceased who died 28 October 1866 at same place was proved at Belfast [6 Apr.1867] by the oaths of Hugh Cooper and Thomas Craig both of Ferniskey (Kells) aforesaid Farmers the Executors. Will dated 21 Oct.1866 mentions 'beloved wife Jane,' daughters Jane & Ellen, 'to my son David [if he] comes Home,' 'married daughter Sarah Richy.'
