Maud Lawrence Marshall was born q1 1888, West Ham Vol 4a Page 210. Mother's maiden name Hoyes.

John Thomas J Marshall born q3 1891 West Ham Vol 4a Page 118. Mother's maiden name Hoyes. Unfortunately he died in 1892.

If it is, his behaviour was exemplary until March 1880 when it was indifferent and he was imprisoned for 42 days. He was discharged as he was objectionable later same year. He was dark haired, grey eyed and only 5 foot and half an inch! Says his occupation was a clerk.

The army records give much detail which is sometimes rather interesting and so good to have.
