I have a problem with Thrulines. My grandma had  3 sisters and 2 of them have shown up as half relations(the other one hasn't been linked)Their father's name was John Millar and mother's name was Marion Gibb.Unfortunately my grandma's birth certificate says Jessie Miller and her father is John Miller. Is this the reason that the 2 sisters are being shown as half great aunts?

They will show up as half relations if the other tree that ThruLines is pulling information from is not showing both of the parents in a manner that can be recognised by the system as comparable to the two parents in your tree. Take a look at the other tree which is involved and consider why there may be discrepancies. You may want to contact the other tree owner and discuss the differences.

Thanks I have tried to contact them. One was Private and preferred it to stay that way to me and the other has not replied.I know one has Millar and the other had the sister's married name not her maiden name Millar.I will contact them again.
