LivingDNA upload to MH?
« on: Saturday 23 March 19 12:01 GMT (UK) »
Has anyone successfully uploaded their LivingDNA raw data to MyHeritage or have I imagined seeing MH advertising that facility?

You did not image it.

MyHeritage says it takes uploads from Ancestry, FamilyTreeDNA, 23andMe, & Living DNA.

I have not uploaded Living DNA to them but I did upload FamilyTreeDNA with no problems.
James Stott c1775-1850. James was born in Yorkshire but where? He was a stonemason and married Elizabeth Archer (nee Nicholson) in 1794 at Ripon. They lived thereafter in Masham. If anyone has any suggestions or leads as to his birthplace I would be interested to know. I have searched for it for years without success. Thank you.

It seems that although MH do advertise this facility, they can't/don't actually do it.

I, too, have been successful uploading FTDNA raw data to MH.

One has to wonder if they can deal with 23andMe uploads?

MH don't appear to be very responsive to queries.

Yet more work in progress....

Yes I have had that problem too. The only time I got an answer was when I phoned them.

Hi,

I successfully uploaded Ancestry DNA raw data to My Heritage two days ago. You do have to pay to view ethnicity and see all the DNA matches in full.

It gave me some wacky ethnicity estimate however but the dna matches seem correct.
