I don't see any McDonnell/MCDonald/Donnell/Donnelly &c. in Tithe Aplottment Book for Mallow. There were some entries for McDaniel.
Have you considered the possibility that Rachael may have been a relative of another soldier?

Good point, I suppose she could also have been a 'camp follower' and from another part of Ireland. Many thanks.
