Mary Anne Crockett / Slaghtabogy
« on: Sunday 17 March 19 13:36 GMT (UK) »
Trying to establish parents of Mary Anne Crockett from Slaghtabogy, Maghera.

She married Joseph Patton and they had 7 children between 1878 and 1893, the first of whom was Archibald, named after Joseph's father.

I can find no reference to the marriage of Joseph and Mary Anne. I can find no reference to her death which should have been sometime between 1893 and 1903 as it appears that Joseph married Annie Cassidy in 1903.

Many thanks in advance.

The Joseph that married Annie Cassidy in 1903  was son of Archie....so her death might not have been sometime between 1893 and 1903

One son for her verifies she was married to Joseph

Yes I agree....

What throws it is... ".....Joseph and Mary Anne. I can find no reference to her death which should have been sometime between 1893 and 1903 as it appears that Joseph married Annie Cassidy in 1903....."

this implies that it was her husband who remarried Annie Cassidy in 1903 after her Death!

Also implies  that she must have died between 1893 and 1903....when she might have even attended the wedding  ;D

Joseph that married Annie Cassidy was son of Archie......not Joseph her husband!
