Okay found the birth.  There is a travel record for Edwin and his mum Muriel going to Canada on the Empress of France on 22nd May 1959.

Muriel was born on 28th April 1940.  Edwin's birth date is given but I won't put it here as he may still be alive.  If you want it send me a pm.

The address at the time of leaving was 2 Lynton Court, Anerley Road, London, part of the borough of Bromley.

Apparently they are both Canadian, last place of residence is UK, intended place of residence is not indicated for Muriel but Edwin's is the UK.

Edwin being a baby may have been put on his mother's passport and assumed to be Canadian.

Did you find out if this was him?

Born 1932. He could well still be alive.
