Can you read where William Dyker was born please in 1846? Looks like Crannah or Crannal or? The family name was changed between the census 1861 & 1871, from DYKER to DYER is there any way of finding out why?

A small mound or hillocK hollowed out in the centre. it is now partly filled up and defaced, by a ditch being cut through it. The local tradition respecting it, is that it was made and used as a place of shelter by a person of the name of 'Tam' during the time of religious persecution in Scotland. It is also a well Known point on the boundary of MarnocK & Forglen
