Help with a surname please
« on: Tuesday 26 February 19 16:08 GMT (UK) »
I have a marriage & Baptism for my Turner Ancestors but am unable to decipher the bride/mother's name. The baptism of William Turner has the mother's surname as a second forename.

WmTurner
Marriage 19 May 1681 St James, Duke's Place, City of London

WilliamTurner
Christening (Baptism) 4 Apr 1681 St Martin, Ludgate, City of London
Wm, Elizabeth

Familysearch have indexed her as Parthence, but I have not been able to locate incidents of that surname in any online indexes.

Would anyone have suggestions for possible alternate surnames to search.
