Gawsworth Churchyard
« on: Saturday 23 February 19 10:08 GMT (UK) »
Would anyone who lives in the Gawsworth area kindly look up and take note of the Inscriptions on a grave for me please.
I have details of where the grave should be and the old number of the grave plot.
Many thanks
Trish

Hello Trish.
Gawsworth church headstones were transcribed by the Macclesfield Ferrets. I have the database 'Memorial Inscriptions of the Macclesfield Area' on CD. They're fairly reliable, though sometimes it's best to doublecheck dates and ages etc against the actual parish registers or BTs. So if you'd like to let me know the number of the grave and/or name(s) I'll gladly check it for you. PM me if you like.
