The 1911 Census in Ireland has a Robert Patterson, 13, born Ayrshire, living with his grandfather William, and I am just trying to work out who his parents were.
Have you discounted any of the 4 families from the 1911 in Scotland with a missing Robert?
They of course may not necessarily be one of the correct families e.g. if your Roberts' family had moved elesewhere after his birth by 1901?
