It seems you are actually looking for border crossings from the USA to Canada.   Ancestry has such records but only from 1908-1935 and a search for Eleanor Hallett did not bring up any results I'm afraid.
Derbyshire: Brocklehurst, Wigley, Wragg, Hunt, White
Suffolk: Pledger, Mears
Herts: Hills, Linzell,Cakebread
Cambs: Hills
Bucks: Edmonds

London (Moorfields/Shoreditch) : Williams, Sharp
Warwicks: Edmonds, Litchfield

Hi could some kind soul look up a record for me

Border Crossings from Canada to U.S., 1895-1956

I am looking for Eleanor Hallett crossing from Buffalo, USA.

any other travel of Elanors would also be appricated.

Jo

Hi,

Ancestry has that set of records (with image) and so does Family Search (without image).
Family search
https://tinyurl.com/y7w74bjh

The crossing is from Windsor going to Buffalo.

The image on Ancestry is very dark and difficult to read, arrived Buffalo, NY July 23, 1940
Hallett, Eleanor, age 19 b. Windsor, Ontario, race Syrian, single, salesgirl, relative father Joseph,
going to friend Mr. (or maybe Dr.) Robert Good, 2259 W. 59th St., NYC, NY, visit for 1 month.
On the back of the card, it looks like her date of birth is April 21, 1921.

Eleanor crosses again Sept. 1, 1942 at Detroit, Michigan
age 21, single, domestic, relative father Joseph Hallett, 1021 Windsor Ave., Windsor, Ontario,
going to employer Max H. Fruhauf, 26455 York Rd., Royal Oak, Michigan.

Hi folks...

The original question about Eleanor Hallet seems to have been posted in 1910.

A new query about an apparently different family has just been posted by a new member.....please see reply # 91 above.

Hi Carol Ann Kalmar,

Welcome to RootsChat.

We would need further details on your great grandparents, grandad and brothers to be able to help you - names and birth dates would help ?

Perhaps the moderators would be obliging and start a new thread on your behalf.

Sandra

Added - Sorry I presumed someone would have already asked the modearators to split the thread.  :-\
