Isabel Simpson, wife of Thomas Close of Melbecks

I'm looking for any information on the parents of Isabel Simpson, who married Thomas Close on Apr 30 1717 in Grinton. She was born about 1696 but there seems to be a gap in the parish records from May 1693 and July 1696, so I can't find her exact birth or parentage. Can anyone help here?
