john hayhurst/jane brogden

I am struggling on my husbands side of the family, to get any further back than his 4x g grandfather.
Who was John Hayhurst b 1771 in Newton Yorkshire this village is now part of Lancashire, he married Jane Brogden in Mitton in Lancashire on 2nd Aug 1803, he died in 1866 in Clitheroe in Lancashire,only date i have for Jane is b 1776 Lancashire, I have not been able to find parents for either of them, or a death for Jane.
The family all came from Clitheroe Area.

It looks like Jane died as Jenny Hayhurst Mar qtr 1844 Clitheroe age 70 vol 21 page 281

Sorry I can't see any baptisms either

Thanks it makes things very hard when come up against a brick wall, their are other members of my husbands family doing their family trees and we have all come to a standstill at the point of John/Jane
