Re-Laura Wheeler /parents ?

May I have some help please in finding Laura Wheeler Parents and any siblings.
I am trying to go back as far as I can if poss....
Laura Wheeler was born 16/9/1925...
Death Brighton Sussex 1973 ?
Info I have so far is she was born West Bromwich (Birmingham)?

I only need info on Laura Wheeler parents/and siblings please and their parents etc, maybe someone could look in the census for me please if you have the time...

From FreeBMD this looks like her birth registration:

Laura Wheeler  DecQ 1925  W.Bromwich  6b  1354       Mother's maiden name Allen


There is a possible marriage registration for her parents in W.Bromwich in 1915;  Joseph Wheeler and Gladys Allen.  **There are several other Wheeler/Allen marriage registrations around the country so a copy of her birth certificate is the way to confirm her parents; siblings can then be searched for.

Laura will not appear in the latest available census (1911).

I can see her mother's maiden name was Allen and she was born in West Bromwich.
I'm a bot wary of postings her 5 siblings 1916-1931 because they could still be alive.
So I'll do those over 100

In 1939 the parents and youngest child are at 203 Friar Park Road.
Father Joseph William Wheeler born  14 Dec 1893 iron dresser
Gladys born 1 Dec 1896 mother char woman

They married Sep 1915 at West Bromwich registration district.
Joseph William died Dec 1967 at West Bromwich age 73
Gladys Edith Wheeler  died in Sandwell Dec 1985 birth date 1 Dec 1897.(Sandwell is the new district for W Bromwich.)

It looks like Gladys Edith Allen was born in Birmingham and is the daughter of Frederick and Emily Allen ,Modeller and cheser at Chandilier works in Aston born 1860 and 1865.

Sorry, but I disagree with the parents of Joseph Wheeler and Gladys Allen.

Both these individuals are in West Bromwich in 1911 (Joseph's age a year out) and by comparing with 1901 census, births etc. their parents appear to be:

William Wheeler married to Mary Hannah Marsden 1878 Dudley, Staffs.

Joseph Wheeler's birth as plain Joseph Wheeler Mar.qtr.1894 West Bromwich mmn Marsden (although second name William shown on 1939 register I believe this is incorrect - has been written by another hand).   

William Wheeler bc.1855 appears to have died in Dec.qtr.1900 West Bromwich and I cannot find his widow and children in 1901 census (possibly in workhouse with initials only??)  Unable to give full details due to copyright  of 1911 census but widow Mary Hannah is with married daughter Lillian and 2 sons including Joseph.

There are 2 Gladys Allen's living in West Bromwich in 1911, one born Aston and the other born West Bromwich.   The latter appears to be the daughter of a Henry Allen and Rosannah Cashmore married Dec.1893 Dudley but for whatever reason, her birth does not appear to have been registered.   I can find her 2 younger sisters birth entries (confirming mmn as Cashmore) but not her for some reason.

So, I think you are going to need the marriage certificate of Joseph Wheeler and Gladys Allen to confirm their fathers names so that you don't start following the wrong family lines.
