DNA Matches and tracing a particular branch in my tree
« on: Wednesday 30 January 19 14:56 GMT (UK) »
Hello again.

I have 4 dna matches plus another 5 shared matches with the original 4.  All with between 25 to 60 CMs.

From one of the matches, I have a clear line to a common ancestor to my PATERNAL great grandmother's sister.

What I would like to know is, is it possible that among the above matches there could be matches to my MATERNAL Grandmother's line?

Thank you Braytons

The short answer has to be yes, as recent threads have highlighted.

I think it's a matter of keep plugging away!

Thank you Margaret for those links, I have read them and see how very strange the ways of DNA are.

The links to so many of my matches continue to elusive but I am taking your advice and plugging away.
