marriage Charles gautry , son of Clément gautry and Jeanne MAIGNAN and thomasse pissot daughter of françois jacques PISSOT and Suzanne BEAULANON or BEAULAVON (must sort this out) 31 may 1698 in Surdon, Orne .
Should be BeaulaVon.

Translation of the contract :
Sunday 11 th of may 1698 , in Mortrée, in the office of the sollicitor (), Charles Gautry, son of Clément Gautry and the late Jeanne Maignen , and Thomasse Pissot , daughter of the late jacques Pissot and the late  Suzanne Beaulavon, all living in Surdon, have the project of marrying and make a marriage contract :
René Pissot , brother of Thomasse , living in Macey promissed to give them within 2 years after the wedding   60 « livres » (120 euros) and 30 « aunes « (approximately 30* 118 cm) of hessian
And François Beaulavon , uncle of Thomasse , living in Surdon,promissed to pay and give to the future groom and bride , to thank her for her friendship and for the favours  she did to him, 60 » livres  »(approximately 120 euros) within 2 years, and a cow.

Witnesses :Estienne de la Haye from the parish of the castle of Almenesche and jean Chardon from the parish of Surdon.
