That's a good find, except the census says Russian Poland. If it's correct, I think that would be the eastern part of modern Poland, whereas Kożuchów is well to the west in the part that was administered by Prussia/Germany.

I had a look on the western part of Russia, just in case,  but couldn't find anything like it. The only other that looked vaguely like it was in Siberia 

I then noted that they seem unsure on the entry, with Poland and Germany mentioned.  I still think that this is the most likely, unless there are changes (as  with St Petersburg) in the names of the smaller locations after the fall of Communism in the USSR.
