Has anyone got the book 'At the Ford of the Birches'?

Thank you all for your replies, they are appreciated.  I have tried the library, they were very helpful but not able to source a copy.

A trip down to the British Library one day, I think or even better, going over to Ireland

Hi, how did you get on sourcing the book?
I’m in the same boat as you; trying to find info on my GG Grandfather who was stationed there as a policeman (RIC) who then met and married a local girl.
Trying to find info on Patrick O’Donnell (Raphoe, Donegal) and Catherine McEnally (McNally)

I have found on page 70 the Ballintra headstones map, and Kavanagh is listed as stone N27
Page 74 lists the inscription as "I.l.m.o Patrick and Ellen Kavanagh. Cabragh. Their daughter Anne Fitzpatrick died 4th March 1950, her husband Phil, died 21st Jan 1952.  Their daughter Mamie Fitzpatrick. Cabragh, died 23 June 1989. "A Gaelic inscription which translates as May his holy soul be on the right side of God. is also recorded.

Found another Kavanagh on page 412 which lists soldiers from 1914/18 war
Kavanagh Patrick, Ballybay, Pte. RIF (Royal Irish Fusiliers)
