Pte Peter Fowlie, D.L.I, son of Mrs Fowlie 66 Percy St., South Shields, has been killed iin action.
CWGC gives his service no as 201302 and date of death as 21/07/1918. he is remembered on the Soissons Memorial, which commemorates almost 4,00 officers and men from the UK who died during the Battles of the Aisne and Marne in 1918 and have no known grave.
The register of soldiers effects records his mother as the sole legatee and says her name was Margaret.
None of these records give an indication of his age.
Can't see a surviving service record for him.
