I have recently received a photograph from my mother, on the back was wrote in my Grandmother's hand, "My mothers family, Goole". I have for a long, long time looked for a photograph of her Grandfather (my 2 x Great Grandfather) who was a sea captain on the Home Trade runs, the photograph shows him in a jacket with a double row of buttons and braiding around the cuffs, this is the proof I needed that it is indeed him
Would it be possible for you greatly talented people to clean it up a bit, or is it in too poor condition.
As always, any help would be greatly appreciated
