Hello folks, I'm guessing that many of you will, like myself, be in lockdown. I hope you're all doing ok!

We're very lucky to be able to work remotely, so we're doing what we can to make this time a productive one for folks that use PP - we've got a content release coming your way in the next few days.

It will contain:

•   Gisborne Times (1901-1937)
•   Hokitika Guardian  (1917-1940)
•   Opotiki News (1938-1950)
•   Saturday Advertiser (July 1875-1878)
•   Wanganui Chronicle (1860-1869)

It includes a decent nibble into the 20th century coverage of Gisborne, and fills a gap we had in the Wanganui area too. I hope you have fun digging in to this.

All the best from the PP team - stay safe in there  ;)

Many thanks PP.

Will definitely be into the Wanganui Chronicle.

Hello PapersPast

As our Gisborne roots go all the way back to the Black Friday Massacre, any Gisborne release is welcome.

Thanks.

...aaaand it's live.

Do a Ctrl-F5 refresh on the PP page in your browser (Shift-cmd-R on a Mac) and it should show up for you.

Have fun folks! Let me know if you have any issues, I'm here to help if you need me.
