Good morning all!

We've just released a new batch of content on PP - in particular this one really improves the coverage for the West Coast of the South Island and also for Hawke's Bay, through the period of the big earthquake.

Gisborne Standard and Cook County Gazette (June 1887-1891)
    Grey River Argus (1921-1935)
    Hawke’s Bay Tribune (1921-September 1936)
    Poverty Bay Independent (March 1885-1886)
Poverty Bay Standard (October 1872-1876, 1881-1884)
    Waimate Daily Advertiser (1905-May 1906, 1920-1929)

Enjoy!

I particularly like that there's new coverage for the West Coast, South Island.   Yay !!!    8)

Many thanks for your efforts PapersPast in producing this batch through what must have been "trying times" for you.

As always, very much appreciated.    :)

Thanks Lucy! This content all came from our collaborative programme - you might be interested to know that the Grey River Argus additions were funded in partnership with a Wellington woman, she chose the title and paid for half of it to get it online. Normally we partner with various community or civic groups, but she took this on herself - so we owe a very big thanks to her for this.

Thanks PapersPast for that info.

What a wonderful gesture.   :)

And from one Wellington woman to another > and a most generous Wellington woman she is  >  I extend my huge vote of thanks.     :)

Good morning folks!

I've been remiss in updating you, my apologies! We've got a content release going live on the site this morning, including the Press up to 1979 and the Wairarapa Age up to 1938. This release also includes some gap-filling for the Timaru Herald and the Waikato Times.

Happy hunting  :)
