Hello Phil,
I am overwhelmed by your kindness, thank you very much for all of your time.
If I were in England I would buy you a cup of tea and cake!
Thanks for all of your suggestions too, which I will try.
Best wishes,
Kelly.

Hi Kelly
Just to let you know that I shall be traveling to Worcestershire on 8th APR to stay for a few weeks & hope to pay a few visits to the HIVE during that time so have made a note to look at the non conformist records in the hope that I can find the baptisms of the children of Benjamin & Mary but of course if the couple moved to Benjamin's home town I wont have access to the records of that county so keep your fingers crossed just as I'm doing
All the very best
Phil

Hi Kelly
After having a bit of trouble finding it I checked the on line catalogue of the HIVE's holdings & can see they should hold the following Presbyterian records for Dudley
Baptisms 1800 - 1837
Christenings 1743 - 1837 (with some gaps)
Burials 1829 - 1837
So it looks as if I may be in luck if Benjamin & Mary stayed in Dudley to raise their family & Benjamin persuaded Mary to become a Presbyterian
All the very best

Hi Kelly
I located the film that has Dudley Presbyterian records on(with some gaps) & loaded it on a film reader but I have to admit that I was unable to to follow it as the parishes that are on the film seeded such a job to find & I had to give up looking for these Dudley records & I have to say that Im so very sorry as I hate letting people down.
All the very best
Phil
ps I hope that someone else going to the HIVE reads this & takes pity on you so keep your fingers crossed for that

Hi Kelly
As My train was cancelled at the last minute on Sunday I'll be a week later returning home so went to the Hive again on Tuesday & have checked the non conformist registers for Dudley but can find no sign of the children for Benjamin/Mary Lakin so would think they either moved to another part of the county or back to Benjamin's home town
All the very best
