WW1 Medics David Munro Henderson

My great grandfather David Munro Henderson served in WW1 as a medic but i know little about his service. He was born in Leith Edinburgh in about 1885, any info would be amazing as I know little about the man.

The only birth on Scotlands People for his name was in 1891 Hutchesontown which is Glasgow

Can you confirm if his father was Hugh - occ police sergeant?

Lots of David Henderson and David M Henderson listed - difficult to pick out which one he might have been - which regiment he served in  ???

There is no birth 1880 -  1886 in Midlothian for a David Munro Henderson although there are 33 other  births for David Henderson in Midlothian

The only entry with Munro as a middle name is the 1891 entry

Suspect this is the birth of Jane (showing on the 1901 census) - Jane Garrick Henderson daughter of David Henderson and Jane Roney/Ronney born 1 February 1891 South Leith Scotland.
