I am looking for the marriage of Nathaniel Gifford and Ann Russ 1830-1838, probably in Devon.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Is he the Nathaniel Gifford, gentleman, of Littleham nr Exmouth, who died in 1838 aged 64?

On the 1841, Ann and Clara with a Henry Russ aged 80-84. No Nathaniel.

Nathaniel’s will made on 24 April 1838 mentions his “dear wife Anne” who is executrix along with Nathaniel’s nephew George Mitchell Gifford.

Nathaniel was buried at Littleham on 5 September 1838, and probate was granted on 28 October 1838.

She may be the Ann Russ baptised at St James’, Bath on 30 April 1909.  Parents: Henry & Bethiah.
