I have got the marriage  details from my ancestry. I wondering where is the  family history office or Library, to see the microfiche of the marriage? It is at Cardiff or else?

To lookup the marriage you have to know which church it took place in.  It could have been a registry office in which case it can’t be looked up.  The Newport reg district covered a great many areas

The reference number is purely for ordering copies of the cert
