Hi we have photos of Don Stirling fighting before the King of England we received these from Marjorie McGillivray after her death, also Thomas’s logbook that I donated to the Wigram Air Museum, my ex husband Owen Ernest Bolton was Marjorie’s son from her second marriage to Charles Bolton. It was amazing to read his logbook and I was worried about something happening to it so I donated it! My son has a large framed photo of Thomas ( Don ) in the ring. I was fascinated to read your news and your family connection to Thomas. My mum was Thomas’s wife. They had not been married for long when, tragically, his plane came down. I would love to see copies of your photos if possible and I will try contacting the Wigram Air Museum re the logbook. What a lovely idea to donate it to the museum for future generations.
