I think I must be doing something wrong when I go on Lancashire B.M.D.
as I cant find the info I am looking for most of my family were married in
Manchester but I cant find out where, I no my mother was married at St
Wilfrid's c/e church Newton Heath on Oldham Rd but it never comes up that
was in 1940. and I can forget births and death also.

Hi old queen,

don't automatically assume, that you are doing somethng wrong. 
None of the UK-BMD sites, or freeBMD or freeCEN are complete, and the data which has been entered is mainly pre-1920, so it could just be that your people aren't there (yet).

If you look at the B, M and Ds, there is a link for each to show the current coverage.
