Alice buck 1911 census

Hello, I am trying to find Alice Bentley nee Buck on the 1911 census but I have been unsuccessful. She was born in Doncaster 19th Oct 1910 and I am trying to get her parents name to move forward, many thanks

Have you found her birth registration?  The GRO index lists mothers maiden names so that should hopefully lead you to a marriage for her parents to search further.

There is one birth in Doncaster Dec 1910 for an Alice Buck.

Hello, yes I have found it but as she was born in 1910 I would need to buy the birth certificate to see the mother’s maiden name, which I am trying to avoid down this line

The General Register Office index gives mothers maiden names for births up to 1917

If you look on the GRO website the mother’s maiden name is shown from 1837.

Sadly it looks like Miles died 1916 in WW1 

And Alice remarried in Sep 1919 Doncaster to Charles Moxon

Aww, I’ve looked at this family but didn’t think it was her as her age is 5 on the 1911 census. Thank you

Suggest you have a closer look at the 1911 image.  5 months would tie in with an October 1910 birth

No other birth reg so it has to be her
