Thank you everyone for your help: I always had Dorothy Bingham m George Hume but was starting to doubt that when Wm Connelly was mentioned. It makes even more sense because Hume family leased from Connelly estates.

Presumably a "Clerk in Holy Orders" = a Church of England bishop, priest or deacon

"Anglican clergy were described as clerks in holy orders or clerks"

Yes he was the Rev George Hume brother of Sir John Hume of Tully, Co Fermanagh

I know I sometimes see things which aren't there  ::) but I simply can't see Wm Connelly here...

OK, so clerks were not always consistent in their handwriting, but the "W" is nothing like the one at the beginning of "Waterford" in the next entry below.

Also...and I could be wrong!...to me it looks more like "formally" than "Connelly" (...formally of Dub...).

Just my two penn'th...  :)
