DUPLICATE TOPIC - Hugh and Sinah Roberts -where, when (or even did) they marry?

I got some help some months ago with the name of Richard Roberts's mother - Sinah.

I cannot find the marriage of Hugh and Sinah.
Can anyone else?

Hugh Roberts married Sinah Edwards 24 June 1746 at Ruabon

Do you mind telling me where you looked that up. I mainly use FamilySearch.org and findmypast.co.uk and I couldn't find it there.

It is on F M P but transcript has Sarah Edwards, original is Sinah.   I have submitted a correction to them

I should have checked the Sarahs. I have had a John Hulme, male labourer - transcribed as Ann Hulme.

Just found Sinah's baptism - that was transcribed as Sarah too.

I have to admit that when I saw her name was Sinah my first thought was try Sarah as an alternative, sometimes people transcribe what they want to see.  It is quite clear as Sinah on her marriage.

Actually, it looks like the clerk might have written something else and rubbed it out in the baptism (top one).
