Have you looked at the GRO index for Alice 's birth registration which should give her mothers maiden surname

the only Alice Joan Williams registered in 1910 was in Helston, Cornwall - mmn Williams. Do you have the marriage certificate for the couple which should give name & occupations of both fathers?

Are you sure about the middle name? - there are two Alice Williams born Pontypool that year but neither are Alice Joan, there is an Alice Irene and a Alice M


Alice I Williams marries William J Evans in Pontypridd in 1931
