You will need to provide more of the document for anyone to get an idea of the style of writing etc.  Also what kind of document it is, dates etc because it might be a name that can be found in other references.
Rutter, Sampson, Swinerd, Head, Redman in Kent.  Others in Cheshire, Manchester, Glos/War/Worcs.

hopefully this helps , its a naval service record this is ment to be the name of a ship
