It is interesting that there is a Bridget Cane shown in Kilkenny, that is where her husband William Revel seems to have come from

the addresses are in St Helens Prestwich Lancashire which is where they were both living in 1870. I don't think they help

The street addresses may help by looking at neighbours too.
They could be in the same neighbourhood but mistranscribed.
It seems odd that you have a marriage in 1870 but their son’s birth is 1877 - a big gap.
Have you found any other births?

Mary Ann b 1872 Prescot  not on 1881 census
John b 1875 Prescot  not on 1881 census
Kyran b 1877 Prescot (transcribed as Kearns died 1957
Mary b 1880 (my interest)not with family in 1881 she married William Malley in Bolton in 1901

Just found Mary Ann and John.
John died within a year but can’t find Mary Ann.

I can’t see a birth for Mary b 1880 but I think she is with her family in 1891, is that right?

What is the address for Mary Ann’s birth? Have you looked for that and the marriage addresses in the 1871 census?

I can’t see all of Lyon Street but what I did see was ‘t helpful
