Evening all...

Long shot but I was wondering if anyone here has access to Irish records online?

My 2x great grandmother was born in Ireland but moved to Wales where she married a fellow Irishman in 1865 in Pontypool.

They had 2 children together by 1871 and I have every census from 1881 for them and their children in Wales but I cannot find a single trace of them in 1871. Having 2 young children and being pregnant i would assume they couldn't have gone far but would they have maybe travelled back to Ireland to visit family?

If there is a 1871 census for ireland, is anyone able to check for me?  It's driving me mad 😵  Her name was Bridget Buckley (nee Shean) and the only birth info i have is 1840 in Waterford according to a later census.

It is odd that there is no sign of them.
Although 1881 census implies that she was pregnant with Annie showing as 10 yrs, Honora (Annie) was born in December quarter 1870.
Elizabeth was born in December quarter 1872.

With regard to tracing Bridget in Ireland, do you have her father’s name from her marriage record?

Is that the right family?

I see there are a couple of trees but with different children. The marriage is 1865 also.  :-\
