Amelia Sheldon b1828

Could anyone help me research Amelia Sheldon b1828 Birmingham. In 1851 she was a housekeeper to Valentine Brothers, by 1861 she was living as Amelia Brothers, in 1866 she married Ralph Schmidt as a widow and Valentine Brothers married the same year to Selina Foxall as a widower. 
I cannot find any marriage records for Amelia and Valentine or a birth record for Amelia. Her marriage record to Ralph Schmidt says that her father was called John Sheldon, Artist.
Also an 1841 census for Amelia Sheldon would be useful.
Anyone willing to look into this?

This doesn’t answer your question, and you may already have it, but Valentine’s first wife appears to have been Elizabeth Parkin (marr Manchester 25 Jan 1846) who looks likely to have died after giving birth to twins the following year.

Elizabeth Brothers (aged 3) is with her Parkin grandparents in Ecclesfield, Yorks in 1851: HO107/2335/152/11.

Likely death for Rebecca shortly before that census:

Rebecca Brothers aged 3, Mar qtr 1851 Wortley 22 556.

Yes, I noticed about the twins both dying after mother in childbirth. Twins both born in Birmingham so it seems he was living in Ecclesfield in 1841, married in Manchester in 1846, living in Birmingham 1847 and then stayed there the remainder of his life. Interested in how he met Amelia Sheldon. First record is 1851 census when she was his housekeeper. Any ideas?

Newspaper article in the Sheffield independent dated 4 March 1843. Jonathan Trickett was charged with stealing a quantity of bread pans, frying pans, etc., the property of Messers Newton, Chambers & Co., of Thorncliffe Iron Works. Valentine Brothers confirmed that the evidence was the property of the company, the inference being that he was employed by Messers Newton, Chambers & Co.
