Annie Amelia Scarr

Annie Scarr was born about 1865. In 1871 there is a record of Anne Scarr (1865) living with her grandmother Elizabeth in Cambridge. In 1881 she is living in Impington with her Aunt & Uncle (Fred & Eliz Adams).
She married William S Britain in 1887 and in 1891 they were living near Ely.

Can anyone see the names of her parents?

There's one born in 1864

GRO has it missing, so must be a typo in their index somewhere.
Camdex tells me it was in St Andrew the Less Cambridge.

I'd fiddle around a bit more with the GRO to try to force information out of it as it's clearly registered and present both on FS and Camdex.

Can't find it on GRO even with fiddling. 

Have you tried tracing back the Aunt and Uncle as one of those must be related to either her mother or father. 

Alternatively you could get the birth or marriage for her to get parental information.

Frederick Adams marriage to Elizabeth Scarr Dec 1878 Chesterton

Would have expected it to be earlier as the Aunt and Uncle are in their 40's but could be the right couple.

Looks like it is missing from the GRO index for some reason. The entry has no question marks against on FreeBMD. I have reported it to the GRO

Going back with Elizabeth in 1851 there is a Scarr family with mother Elizabeth father Joseph.

Elizabeth the daughter has siblings including an Amelia so on the right track I think. 

I wonder if Annie Amelia was born to one of the daughters and was illegitimate but without the certificate can't say.

Neither of Elizabeth's sisters Amelia and Harriet have married by 1871 - either of them could be mother

Thank you all for looking. I guess if it was one of Elizabeth's sisters it would probably have been Amelia. (Annie Amelia Scarr).Amelia married David Wallis in 1880 but didn't have any children.(as far as I can tell)
