I know that my ancestor George Sawle was born in Veryan in 1814 and that his father was Edward Sawle and mother Jane Sawle(nee Spry) were married in1805. I have an Edward born to John Sawle and Elizabeth in 1773 in Veryan. Does anyone know of any other Edward Sawle born this time abit earlier or a bit later. I feel fairly sure that this is the right one but I feel I would like it confirmed that there are not any other Edwards born around this time. One problem I am having is that the the marriage certificate of Edward and Jane does not have parents so there does not seem to be any way of checking that this is the right parents, the only ways seems to me to have all the parish records for all the parishes around about and check around the possible times (they did seem to move about abit) I think the appropriate time could be any time between 1787 backwards (the youngest age 18 to say 35) 1770
I hope this makes sense and to be honest I was not sure if this was the right place to put requests (if it isnt perhaps someone could tell me where to post this.
