Syme/McLeod Census 1851

I'm on the hunt for my ancestress and her two sons. I was wondering if someone could see if they are in the 1851 census

Catharine McLeod (nee Syme) was widowed in 1844 and returned to her family home of Northfield House, Prestonpans. At the time her brother, George Syme, should have been owner of the said House. Her two sons may or may not be visible in this census as well depending on their schooling. Murdoch McLeod, born Dec 1833, and his younger brother Thomas Syme McLeod, born Dec 1837.

I'd really appreciate if anyone could help me track down these elusive ancestors. Much thanks to my benefactors

[MacLeod Syme]

Thomas Syme Macleod is my great great grandfather ,his  mother was   Catherine syme.  He was  the first Macleod to come to Canada in the year 1857 . I have been doing a Canadian family tree of the Macleod family. I would  be interested to contact you about the Scottish side of the family tree. Murdock was a druggist in Bradford Ontario and Thomas was a farmer in Ontario then went west to Saskatchewan to farm where his son Thomas was born and my father Meredith was born.

Dear Helen,

I was very excited to get your message about my MacLeod family. I don't think there is any doubt that we are related. Thomas Syme MacLeod, Sr. is my great great great grandfather.  His son John became my great great grandfather and his daughter, Clara Charlotte became my great grandmother.
Today, once I found the notes I copied down, I remembered a conversation with  my grandmother about the identity of some people in her photo album she related she couldn't recall who was who. She knew the name of the mother but not which girl was which. She could recall, however,  that there were three girls and three boys. One had the name of Meredith MacLeod.  I'll send you a private message asking if all the names are right. Then we'll know for sure. I don't want to send more publically as I don't know if it's okay with you.

sorry sent reply before adding notes. As you can see from 1851 census, Catherine was not staying with her brother. Will do more research.

My name is Kim McLeod, I am from this line. My grandfather Norman McLeod was from Grenfell, Saskatchewan. I was given a precious book which was passed down from Thomas syme Macleod from a friend in 1859' then passed down to Percy smith from grandpa in 1918. Next name I cannot make out. Passed down to my uncle Dallas McLeod from his aunt florie McLeod in 1959. The book "the life of John Bunyan". My great grandfather was John McLeod who came from Ontario and moved to Saskatchewan.
