I'm on the hunt for one of my ancestors and ancestresses who are proving very elusive. Finding their ages in nigh impossible but I'm hoping that someone could kindly look for them in the Liverpool census of 1841.
This much I know:
Her name is Catharine McLeod (MacLeod?) of, possibly, Edinburgh. Her husband was mentioned as a someone who went to sea so may or may not be there during the census. His name is John McLeod (MacLeod?). In their marriage registry (Feb 1831) he is called a merchant of Glasgow (not sure if this means he was born there). At this time ~1841~ they would have had two sons: Murdoch (b 1833) and Thomas S. (b 1837), both born in Liverpool.
I am very thankful to my future benefactors for tracking this down. This could help me immensly on my search.
Thanks
