Scotlands People is not showing a 1953 death for that name.  There is a death for a Margaret Lawson Wardrop in Bonnybridge 1953 aged 48.  Are you sure she died in 1953?

I think she died around that year but not sure  ,her parents we're  William wardrop  & Elizabeth  wardrop (nee Cranston) .
