BUMFREY Richard Kington area

I am trying to locate any information on the christening of and parents and siblings of Richard Bumfrey(or derivatives)    I have checked Ancestry records and the LDS records.

This is what I know coming forward.
He married Elizabeth Griffiths in 1782.   She had passed away by 1785 when he married Anne Williams and they had five children all in Kington.  I

I suppose he would of been born somewhere around 1755/65 but have no idea where to look record wise on line as I am in the middle of Canada  I cannot find the surname at all. on line in that area during that time frame.

Any advice or help greatly appreciated.

I am still at a dead end re Richard Bumfrey and I have a bit more information I would like to share.

I know Richard Bumfrey married Anne Williams 1785 in Kington
The had the following children from 1787  to 1798
Martha, Elizabeth GRIFFITHS Bumfrey, Mary Bumfrey Charlotte and Richard.

I highlighted Elizabeth middle name as I found this marriage in 1782 in Kington

(I was wondering if Rampstone is actually Rampstone as that name is mentioned a few times in the UK)

My questions are?    Are Richard Rumpstone and Richard Bumfrey one in the same person
Does anyone see any possible baptism for Richard Bumfrey that may possibly help me find who his parents were?

I googled the name Rumpstone and looked on census records and I cannot find any reference to it as a surname at all.  I have not seen the original transcription of the Rumpstone Griffiths marriage and wonder if it actually says Rumpstone.

In either case it seems that Richard Bumfrey/Rumpstone are somehow related.

My search on Familysearch gives the marriage in Feb. 1782 as being Richard Bumphrey to Elizabeth griffiths.

This would fit with Elizabeth griffiths bumfry being baptised late, after his remarriage to Anne Williams

I see you have got this marriage,  I wonder if the Richard Rumpstone is a hopeless mistranscription by someone.

Kington is on the border with wales, although I cannot see baptism there for Richard, a search of the census for Radnorshire throw up a few descendants living in Eardisley, about 6 miles from kington, but in Herefordshire although the census says it’s in wales.

I did notice a William bomfrey, there saying he was born in Salop, an alternative name for Shropshire,
A very long shot is a baptism for a Richard omphrey in pontesbury Shropshire.

 All this is from Familysearch which I find useful for finding alternative spellings of names

It occurred to my that Richard would have been an apprentice taylor, himself. So I have looked at the Apprentice Indenture list from November 1773 to August 1778 and have found this -

Tuesday 4 July 1775 - John Wiggett of Camden Gloucester - Taylor - Richard Humphrys apprentice.

I don't know how long a taylor's apprenticeship lasts or how old Richard is so it is difficult to estimate but I would imagine he would have been about 14 when he started his apprenticeship.

I have entered all the info and am starting to look in that area.
I found Humphrey (Richard) in that area and if it is him the most probably would be one
in the Quaker faith but it is definately written Humprey
