I am looking for info on Donlad mclean,on marriage to sussanh Potter 1903 Wednesbury,father as Donald Mclean Proffesional Cricketer deceased and I have just received his death cert from gro and no parents listed ? is this normal?
as he was brn abt 1883 i have no 18881 census info...on the 1891 and 1901 census there are a few Donald Mclean's which one he is ? i have no idea where he was brn..eng or Scot..I have found one Donlad Mclean brn Kidderminster 1858 father Donald brn abt 1842 scotland ?is this his father,this Donald m 1st Jane Entwistle then Emma Crow who was with him and Jane in 1881 census,there is a death for donald 1884 when he was married to Emma Crow,their son Edward died age 9 in 1893 Donald was an Innkepper living 35 Chester Road Kidderminster.....the family have a story abt Donald snr and a place called the Hen and Chicken Pub where Donald died and his wife drunk all the proffits ? how true this is i have no idea......I have Donald Mclean [2] war record and no parents? his wife Sussanah came with their 4 children to New-zeland after the death of Donald ..Sussanah's parents were Samuel Potter and Mary Hadley ..Where do i go from here...help
