Hi,
I'm wondering how to go about learning more about a
licensed victualler by the name of
John James LIGHTFOOT (1867 - 1917).
I believe he was the landlord of a pub in
Widnes - The Ram's Head. Two different pubs in
Parr, St. Helens - The Queen's Arms and The Engine Inn. And also worked in pub(s) in Garston.
I'd also like to pinpoint the location of The Ram's Head in Widnes. It's safe to say it doesn't exist now but where exactly was it and do any images survive? It could have been on or near Sutton's Lane in Widnes but I'm not sure.
Any help / advice much appreciated.
Best Wishes,
Rowan Tree
