Thank you both for all your replies. I do not think the marriage in Kent is the right one.
His army record (3) have him being out of the country in Oct. 1797. So back to the drawing board.

So are you saying Guernsey or Jersey her.  I am a bit confused.  I am in Guernsey can go to the library maybe next week if you like but just checking I am not on a wild goose chase first?  :)

Thank you for your reply.
I am looking for a marriage of George Knight and Hester/Esther ?
As nothing suitable comes up in England I wondered if it could be on Guernsey. They had7 children on Jersey, but I could not find a marriage there. It would be between about 1800 and 1804.
Of course they may be no marriage.
