Nicholas Horace CHAVASSE (1830-1918)

I am attaching photo of the above.

He was born in 1830 in Birmingham, England.  He emigrated to the USA and died in Henderson, Vance, North Carolina, USA in 1918. 

I don't know when he emigrated or where or when the photograph was taken but he appears in the 1880 US Census in Henderson.  I don't have the original so don't know if anything is on the reverse.

Thanks to you and others I now have a separate file of Roots Chat restores to savour.

What sort of attribution should I make to Roots Chat and yourselves when I share them with other family members?

More to follow but I'll limit them to 2 a week.
