As said earlier, have a look at the FreeCEN website, there are quite a few records for the MacGregor family in that area.

For instance....."MACGRIGOR (sic), Piece SCT1841/65, Fodderty Parish - Ross and Cromarty, ED5, Folio-0, Page 15.....

"MACGRIGOR, Alexander........" plus nine others.

The cottages were demolished in the sixties and there is now a field of barley waving in the breeze!

If you search www.findagrave.com you will find a picture of grave stone and some details of family members   ..Hector Macgregor birth year 19 April 1887 died 22 June 1977 Alberta
